An Autumn wedding in the Marbella sun
When you see the photos of Charlotte and Ashley’s wedding you think it’s a professional shoot. You see, these two are so good-looking and photogenic that you’d think they’re models, part of a fashion shoot in some exotic location. The exotic location, in fact, was the lovely Puente Romano Hotel on Marbella’s Golden Mile, and the occasion was not a photo shoot but the real-life wedding of two lovely people from London.
This bright and handsome couple made my job that much easier, while their friends and family helped to fill the space with love and joy. Autumn in Marbella means warm, sunny days and a rich golden light. Between the setting created by Scott of Sunshine Weddings Spain, the ceremony presided over by Padre Peter and those who had come together to share this moment, we knew it was going to be a special day.
I managed to get some great moments of joy with friends and relatives, but also some wonderfully romantic moments of the couple themselves. They’re so natural that they were an absolute joy to work with, while later Marbella Entertainments made sure the festive side of the occasion took over and a fantastic time was had in this memorable setting at one of Europe’s classic glamour settings.
A reaction from the bride:
“Just got our first look at our wedding pictures!! We are so happy and chuffed with them. The one thing that drew us to choose David was that his images captured natural aspects of a wedding day and his lighting and style was fun and informal! We were NOT disappointed – all out shots are stunning – capturing beautiful moments and smiles with a few really funny ones of the ushers and bridesmaids going wild! On top of this – David was a very warm person who is clearly passionate about capturing good shots and made us feel very relaxed.”
