Getting married in the Spanish sunshine
People choose to get married in Spain because they like the idea of getting married in the sun, perhaps within earshot of waves breaking on the shore or within sight of stunning country scenery. They come to the Costa del Sol because they’re (almost) certain of a rain-free day, because the bright weather helps spirits rise and because the lifestyle encourages them to let their hair down and have a great time. They also like the pretty little churches they exchange their vows in and the picturesque Andalusian villages and historic quarters that are just made for wedding photography. But I think that above all, people love to get married in Marbella because it is such a romantic place.
This was very much the impression I got from David and Raychel, a couple who together with a large group of friends and family traveled to Estepona to enjoy a magical summertime wedding at the H10 Estepona Palace, by a glistening sea. As he spoke, the vicar was framed by the Mediterranean, the guests looked summery and happy, and David and Raychel beamed – she the picture of a lovely bride.
Scott of Sunshine Weddings Spain had done them proud, as he always does, adding to a wonderful moment and setting by creating a flawless day full of excitement and fun. For the happy couple and their gathered friends and family it was a sunny day in more ways than one – and one which I think they will fondly remember for many years to come.
From the groom:
“David photographed our wedding during the summer and we couldn’t have been happier. David’s ideas to get really different magical shots were incredible. The photos came out better than we could ever had imagined. His enthusiasm was fantastic and he really made all our guests and us feel relaxed, which really came across in the pictures.
This man has a real passion for what he does and it shows in his work. Can’t recommend this guy enough. Thanks again David!”
